Let people introduce themselves.

Use the names and pronouns people share. If you make a mistake, correct it briefly and keep going. Respect privacy: let people decide when and with whom to share their identity.

02 / LISTEN

People are more than a label.

Make room for trans, nonbinary, lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, intersex, and asexual voices. Let people describe their own experiences. No one person speaks for a whole community.

03 / SHOW UP

Turn welcome into action.

Ask what support would help. Make spaces accessible, challenge exclusion when you can safely do so, and support community-led work. Carry that care across race, disability, faith, background, and income.
